never realised its been such a long time since the last post. well, the lack of entries can only be explained by the new hectic and tiring schedule of mine as a fresh VI. as though working in the unit is not taxing enough, theres now hq and the primary school programmes to help out with. but looking on the bright side, they do offer great learning experiences. for a start, the rainy season is clearing up. and thats just great! its not fun waking up in the morning late and having to iron your clothes. worst still, wearing damp underwear when theres none that are dry. *glups*
the new blog layout was a result of me having nothing better to do on this chinese new year's eve. thanks to my little cousin (she forced me to say this) we got it up rather fast. kids these days are just getting smarter at such things than we 'adults' haha.
as mentioned previously, work with the primary has began. and its been interesting for me to be able to interact with many of the children over the past couple of weeks. seeing them so carefree and cheerful all the time makes me wonder how easily we young adults have lost that sense of innocence and how big a change puberty can cause in us. no doubt was it one hell of an experience at first, shouting ur head off just to get their attention and only afew minutes later do you see them showing some response, and how frank they can get by telling you off 'this is boring, i don't want to play anymore!' hmm.. sounds familiar? hurting though. but oh well, kids will be kids. its a totally different approach towards these young teenagers that has to be adopted, unlike what it is to teach the juniors of my generation, these kids truely need lotsa love, patience and understanding but yet to be firm at times. and despite having them piss you off so badly that you just feel like strangling them, you cant deny the fact they bring much joy and happiness into our lives when you begin to be more involved in their lives and they in yours. i want kids of my own! =)
in a few hours time its going to be chinese new year! as much as i am excited about collecting those ang pows, so i am about all the visiting and the yummy food! wahaha. someone please remind me to return to the gym after tuesday! =)

first entry for the year
what a 2005 year it has been, with so many things that had happened, both good and bad. the sweet memories i would sure like to re-live and the negative ones i wouldn't want to recall. whatever they were, they have made me the very person i am presently.
so, a start of a new year with a fresh new beginning. my resolution of the year - to spend more time in church and with my family, not forgetting to have a good and healthy balance of all my activities. the rest, well that special some one would already know. hahaha =) would really want to apologise to all those who have sent me your new year greetings over the sms and having not replied you. like you know the network this morning was seriously screwed and i was totally frustrated with all my smses not getting through. nonetheless, thank you very much for keeping such as loser like me in mind. haha.
my visiting relatives have returned to Shanghai today and the once ' temporary mad refugee camp' which my noisy cousins running about and setting my hamsters free everywhere in the house has returned to its quiet and boring atmosphere. if you little ones are reading this, just wana say a big thank you for the past week, sharing with us the Christmas and new year joy and happiness and bringing us much laughter, though you gave me much shit clearing up the mess after you. but what can i say, your mom gave me a 150bucks angbao before you guys left. hahaha. i'll miss you guys. come back for Chinese New Year ok! =)
ok, finally after one and a half weeks of procrastination, i got my hq proposals and reports completed! *CLAPCLAP* it was hell when my laptop crashed a couple of days ago and i had to redo everything. what a nice new year's gift to have. guess i will be going down to samsung service centre at PS tomorrow to get it fixed. hope the repairs wont be adding up to something near $150? *glups*
school's reopening the day after tomorrow! hope the students will be equally excited and happy about it as i am. hahaha im not trying to be sarcastic here, but i think not studying for the past 2 months was indeed boring. agreed? hahas.
